Methods 50 patients with post-infectious cough were randomly assigned to two groups, 25 patients in the treatment group were treated with Chanyi Jiegeng Erchen Decoction, and 25 patients in the control group were treated with Prednisone, for a course of 12 days. Results The total effective rate was 96.0% in the treatment group, higher than 64.0% in the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion Chanyi Jiegeng Erchen Decoction is a quite effective treatment for PIC.
