The effects on cholecystectomy patients' preoperative anxiety and postoperative recovery with two psychological intervention methods

Objective:To study the effects of reducing preoperative anxiety and accelerating recovery on cholecystectomy patients.Method:62 patients were observed,30 in experimental group(accept psychological intervention) and 32 in control group(accept routine psychological care).Preoperative anxiety,frequency of heartbeat,blood pressure and index of postoperative recovery were monitored. Result:In experimental group,patients' anxiety at the evening before operation and postoperative pain were reduced more than the control group.The time to walk and exhaustation were earlier than the control group( P 0.05). Conclusion:The psychological intervention acceptted by experimental patients were better in reducing preoperative anxiety and accelerating postoperative recovery than routine psychological care .
