Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical features and related factors of patients suffering IgA nephropathy in minority areas of Hubei. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 71 cases of primary IgA kidney disease. Results Among the 71 cases of IgA kidney disease, those aged between 30 and 39 amounted to 37 cases(52.11%).39 cases(54.93%) had clinical manifestations of hematuria and proteinuria,43 cases(60.56%) had mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis,22 cases(30.07%) had focal segmental glomerulosclerosis,45 cases(63.38%) had hypertension. Conclusion IgA nephropathy had a variety of clinical symptoms coupled with hypertension.Considering IgA nephropathy with isolated hematuria is apt to be neglected and other diseases of the renal glomerulus misdiagnosed as IgA nephropathy,it is advisable to have renal biopsy so as to ensure an early diagnosis.
