The comparative study on patient's subjective evaluaion with attachment dentures and clasp dentures

Objective To compare the patient's subjective evaluation on the attachment dentures and the clasp dentures.Methods Followed up 20 mandibular distal-extension cases,to survey the patient's attitudes after repaired with attachment dentures and clasp dentures through questionnaires.Results Regarding to the masticatory function,fixedness,stabilization and beauty.there were significant different between the attachment dentures and the clasp dentures;regarding to the pronunciation and comfort,the clasp dentures is better than the attachment dentures.Conclusion Compare with the tradition removable partial dentures,the attachment dentures obtain better restore effect to distalextension defect.
