Analysis of Patient,s Satisfaction among the Fixed Implant Supported Dentures and traditional dentures

Objective To campared the subjective attitudes of dentition defected patients toward the fixed implant supported dentures and toward the removable partial dentures and towards the fixed partial dentures. Methods 58 dentition defected patients can be surveyed through using of self-prepared questionnaires after the removable denture prosthesis and after the implant denture prosthesis, as the same time 58 patients with the traditional fixed partial dentures involved. Results The fixed implant supported dentures and removable partial denture on masticatory function, aesthetics, convenience and language functions, such as there is statistical difference(P0.5), and there exists significant difference regarding to the fixedness and comfort(P0.1); which there is no statistical significance between fixed implant supported dentures and FPD(P0.05). Conclusions The fixed implant supported dentures could meet the requirement of patients and be important complement except for the traditional fixed partial dentures.
