Effect of Pretreatment of Collagenase IV on Gastric Electricity Induced by Gentamicin Injecting to Zusanli Point

Objective: To explore the substance of transmission medicinal message on the initial action of drug induced by drug injecting to acupoint. Methods:6mm above Zusanli point of Stomach Channel was previously treated with collagenase Ⅳ,30 minutes later the effect of gastric electricity induced by gentamicin injecting to Zusanli point was investigated, and the action of the pretreatment group was compared with the group of pretretment by collagenase Ⅳ injecting to 6mm above Zusanli point beside the Stomach Channel and with the group of pretretment by normal saline injecting to above Zusanli point same Channel respectively. Results:The results indicated that the initial action of gentamicin injection at Zusanli point was almost inhibited by the pretreatment of collagenase Ⅳ on the Stomach Channel. However, the same treatment beside the Stomach Channel and the group with normal saline on Stomach Channel did not inhibit the action of gastric electricity. Conclusions:The date suggest that gentamicin inhibit gastric electricity and collagenase Ⅳ can possibly transmit medicinal message in injection of drug into Zusanli point.
