Abstract
From the design changes in the collar, the front, the sleeves and the side slit of cheongsam, this paper discusses that cheongsam is the most representative traditional costume of Chinese women. Through its evolvement, development and creation, Chinese cheongsam has possessed distinctive national flavor and artistic fascination and become a brilliant miracle of Chinese national costume culture.
