Cheongsam,as a typical representitive of Chinese traditional costume,has a history of more than a century.Nowadays, improved cheongsam has gone towards the world and become the fashion dress and a sparkling pearl of the East.This paper discusses the rhythm arid charm of cheongsam in terms of the origin of Cheongsam and its development,the mysterious charm of cheongsam,dress code,the cultural connotations of cheongsam,as well as the era spirit and meaning of today's cheongsam.
