Abstract

This article describes a new sort of offshore platform named single pile platform, and analyses its characteristics. According to the hydrology and geology in Bohai Sea and the location of Chengdao oil fields, it analyses problems in the platform's applying. Gives an example——CB271 project and proves the new sort of platform is successful.
