Corrections for The Collection of Chengzhai

The editing of Volume 133 in Yang Wanli's The Collection of Chengzhai was accomplished by Yang's eldest son,Yang Changru,in the initial year of Jiading in Southern Song Dynasty(the year 1208),two years after Yang's death.When proofreading the Collection of Chenzhai,included in The Chronicle of Yang Wanli's Life,which the author of this paper has recently been compiling,the author spotted errors such as wrong names,repeated texts,and disorderly layouts.These mistakes had existed in the editions preceded to Changru's work,which was also in accordance with the explanation given in the general outline for The Full Edition of the Four Libraries,that the mistakes occurred because the volumes were too heavy to be reprinted and had to be copied from hand to hand.
