Clinical observation on the treatment of 214 hypertensive patients with prazosin Co.

Abstract
214 cases of essential hypertensive patients were treated with prazosin Co and were compared with 166 cases of hypertensive patients treated with prazosin alone.It was revealed that prazosin Co had marked hypotensive effect than prazosin alone, the total effective rate are 78.8% and 65.8% respectively.Side effects due to prazosin Co were less than that due to prazosin alone. It was showed that prazosin Co was useful to hypertenive patients complicated with mild and moderate cardiac or renal insufficiency. We suggested that prazosin Co might be an effective drug of first choice for chronic hypertensive patients.
