Abstract
The modern cognitive psychology studying the cognitive processing from the perspective of information processing thinks that English listening comprehension is a complicated psychological process with the interaction of language and thinking. In addition, it is the interaction of listener's conceptual formation, back- ground knowledge and processing strategy. Studying English listening comprehension from the three angles of cognitive psychology can provide inspiration for teaching listening and clear out the barrier in listening comprehension.
