Abstract
In this paper, the basic theory and the application of ActiveX Automation in development of Auto CAD are presented, using the Visual Basic program tool, the courses can communicate with AutoCAD. An useful way can be supplied for VB program, which provides a new method for the future development of the AutoCAD.
