CT Diagnosis of Splenic Multifocal Lesions

Objective To discuss the value of CT in diagnosis of splenic multifocal lesions.Materials and Meth-ods CT findings of 30 cases with splenic multifocal lesions were retrospectively analyzed.Results Among these splenic multifocal lesions,there were malignant lymphoma(n=7),metastatic tumor(n=6),cyst(n=5),splenic infarction(n=3),hemangioma(n=2),tuberculosis(n=2),lymphangioma(n=1),abscess(n=1),neurofibroma(n=1),leucocythemia(n=1),malignant histocytosis(n=1).CT scan could clearly show the location,size,shape,density of splenic multifocal lesions and the relationship with the surrounding organs as well.The diagnostic accuracy rate was 70%.Conclu-sion Splenic cysts account for the majority of splenic multifocal benign lesions,while lymphoma and metastatic tumor account for the majority of splenic multifocal malignant lesions,CT scan plays an important role in the diagnosis of splenic multifocal lesions.
