Abstract

Atomic absorption spectroscopic method is used to determination of the content of Zn, Cu, Fe, Ca, Mg, Cd, Ni and Pb in green teas produced by different tea plantations in Zhanjiang. The results show that many kinds of mineral elements and trace elements are found in green teas, the content of trace elements are different to some extent in the green teas from different tea plantations, the content of trace elements differ with different times when green tea leaves are immersed and that there are more content of trace elements in teas first immersed compared with that in reimmersed.
