Abstract
Socialist market economy is an economy of legal system One of its characteristics is a pluralistic trend of the main body of interests The Chinese trade unions must possess a status of main body that market economy need if they want to protect the rights and interest of the workers and staff members If we want to establish the status of a legal person in the capacity of a public organization,we must clarify representative rights of the trade unions,and determine their property and their organizational structure in order to exercise their powers and functions and be capable to shoulder appropriate responsibilities
