On the Political Connotation of China's Modernization

Abstract
Previously, the degree of a country's modernization was judged by that of its economic development. In fact, modernization in a given society is related not only to its economic condition, but also to its political system, democracy and spiritual civilization. Only with the harmonious and simultaneous development of economy, politics and culture can we lay a solid foundation on China's modernization, and lead China into the ranks of developed countries.
