Abstract
The test was conducted to find out the effects of straw mulching on soil moisture temperature yields and quality. The results showed that straw mulching could regulate soil temperature and keep and improve the moisture capacity with more significant effect in the early growing period and rainfall-scared days. It could also definately promote the growth of tobacco plants and expand the field growing period enhancing the growth of root system and stem of tobacco plants yields and quality grade index yield value etc.
