Unattended substation system based on SMS of GSM

Abstract

The structure and functions of unattended substation system based on SMS(Short Message Service) of GSM(Global System for Mobile communications) are introduced.In the system,the information about protection action,device operation and so on is sent to related staff in time by means of SMS.The system consists of automation interface,SMS sending / receiving and GSM modem,with functions of system management,alarm sending,scheduled data sending and data query.The software is programmed with Delphi,an object-oriented language,and the modularization design and event driving mechanism are adopted.The system acquires real-time information of automation system through Socket interface,saves and manages the information and parameters using Access database.Flowcharts of irregular events and information query subprogram are provided.The system is practical.
