Abstract

The analysis is about the education situation of that time in the United States,as well as on the base of lifelong education thoughts R.M.Hutchins,who is one of American famous educationalist,puts forward the concept and the thoughts of learning society.He thinks that the learning should overstep the wall of school and everyone must to be learning without intermission.The thoughts of Hutchins'learning society have an important implication for current adult education.
