Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe the therapeutic effects of Cinobufotain combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) on primary liver cancer(PLC). Methods: Ninty subjects were enrolled in series which were randomly divided into two grous. Cinobufotain was injection via vein combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in treatment group with 50 cases and the control group with 46 cases treated with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization. One week after treatment, the blood-routine, function of liver and kidney were measured and tumor was also observed 4 weeks after treament. Results:Compared with control group, there were significant differences in restraining tumour growth, improving quality of life between treatment group and control group(P0.05). There was no difference in survival rate at 0.5 years(P0.05), but the survival rates at 1, 2 years in treatment group were significantly higher than those in control group. The WBC in treatment group were higher than that in control group, meanwhile, the TBil and ALT were lower in control group after treatment(P0.05). Conclusion: It is concluded that Cinobufotain can increase the clinical effects and reduce toxicity of TACE.
