Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of WT1 and NF-кB in serous ovarian tumor, and to discuss the clinical significance and their correlation. Methods The expressions of WT1 and NF-кB proteins were detected by immunohistochemisty in serous ovarian cancer(40 cases),borderline ovarian tumor(40 cases) and benign ovarian tumor(40 cases) respectively.Analysed the correlation express level ovary serous tumor clinical pathology characteristic. Results The positivity rates of WT1 of benign tumors, borderline tumors and serous ovarian cancers were 22.5%,72.5% and 90%,22.5% respectively. The WT1 expression in serous ovarian cancers and borderline tumors was significantly higher than that in benign tumors(P0.05).The positivity rates of NF-кB/p65 in serous ovarian cancers and borderline tumors were 77.5% and 62.5% respectively, significantly higher than that in benign tumors(P0.05).The over expression of NF-кB/p65 was related to the volume of serous ovarian cancer(P0.05).The expression of WT1 was correlated with NF-кB(P0.05).Conclusion WT1 and NF-кB are over expressed in ovarian serous cancer.A high expression of WT1 and NF-кB is considered associating with the evolution and progression of serous ovarioan tumor.
