Abstract
The paper analyzes and evaluates the development of science technology resource allocation efficiency of the provinces and regions by using principal component analysis, combined with the data from Statistical Yearbook of Chinese Science and Technology, taking the process index of resource allocation efficiency of provincial science technology research institutions as the research object.Studies have shown that: technology resources input of provinces and regions is different;science technology outputs, technical achievements and technological innovation are not the same;the distribution is uneven and hierarchical. Each province should improve the allocation efficiency of science technological resources by confronting its own advantages and disadvantages and developing towards a more rational direction.
