Effects of Chinese Herbal Medicine of Strengthening the Stomach Substitute Antibiotic on Growth Performance of Weanling Piglets

Abstract
By feeding piglets the DRB to observe the effect that DRB replaces of the antibiotic.A total of 63 L-Y crossbred piglets which were weaned on 28-day-old,were randomly divided into three groups.Antibiotic group Chinese herbal medi- cine group and contrast group under the same conditions Feeding foundation date grain of non-animal source and the low- protein.Antibiotic group in foundation date grain add Penicillin and Aureomycin. Chinese herbal medicine group add com- pound Chinese herbal medicine.The purpose of this experiment was to investigate effect of the Chinese herbal additives on growth performance average daily feed intake average daily weight gains and diarrhea ratio in weaned piglets during 30 day saised.The result show that Chinese herbal medicine group grow increased 16.49% (P0.05)in averaged daily weight gains 17.27% (P0.05) in average daily feed intake compare to the contrast group, higher 1.33%(P0.05)、1.70%(P0.05) compare to the Antibiotic group.There was no significant(P0.05)in death rate and diarrhea ratio between Chinese herbal medicine group and Antibiotic group.White Chinese herbal medicine group and Antibiotic group compare to the contrast group(P0.05).It indicated compound Chinese herbal medicine of strengthening the stomach can substitute antibiotic on growth performance of weanling piglets.
