Abstract

Objective To analyze lipid metabolism and the risk factors associated with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol of impaired fasting glucose(IFG)in Xinjiang Han nationality. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 2 656 cases of Han nationality residents during 30 to 80years old in Xinjiang. Results In IFG crowd, the prevalence of hypertriglyceridemia was 34.7%,male(38.2%)more than female(28.3%)(P 0.05);the prevalence of hypercholesterolemia was 59.2%,male(61.2%),female(53.9%),the difference showed no significance(P 0.05);the prevalence of high low-density lipoprotein was 29.4%,male(33.2%)more than female(22.3%)(P 0.05);the prevalence of low high-density lipoprotein was 22.7%,male(18.7%)less than female(30.1%)(P 0.05).The overall prevalence of dyslipidemia was 63.7%.The risk factors of high low-density lipoprotein cholesterol were age and cholesterol by logistic regression analysis. Conclusion The high low-density lipoprotein hyperlipidemia in IGF people is related with risk factors gender and cholesterol.
