Clinical effects observation of IPS Empress ceramic veneer to anterior teeth for aesthetic restoration

Objective To analysis the clinical restoration effects of ceramic veneer aesthetic restoration according to clinical effects observation with anterior teeth using IPS-Empress ceramic venner,Methods The 82 tooth from 32 clinets were treated by IPS Empress ceramic veneer,this article observed the each clinical data of IPS Empress ceramic venner:color match,integrity of ceramic venner,gingival health,post-operative sensitivity with modified Ryge criteria after repaired half year,one year and two year respectively.Results The clinical observation results showed that around 95% veneers had excellent marginal adaptations;and less than 4% of venner damage shedding rate;and nearly 95% clients had excellent colour match;slight inflammation was found less than 2% on veneer gingival margin;and 7% clients had different degree of cold heat stimulation sensativity,but the sensativity was disappeared after dental adhesion;Also around 3% veneer had small defects at the cutting site.Conclusion The research showed that applying IPS Empress ceramic veneer to repair anterior teeth was a reliable,good aesthetic effects and ideal method.
