Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy of L-arginine and alprostadil on ascites in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods Thirty patients with liever cirrhosis were divided into control group, L-arginine treatment group and alprostadil treatment group. The change of urine volume, natruresis, abdominal perimeter and creatinine clearance rate were observed after 2 week-treatment.Results L-arginine and alprostadil increased the urine volume, while decreased the abdominal perimeter and renal arterial RI. There was a significant difference between control group and two treatment groups. Conclusion These suggeste L-arginine is of therapeutic efficacy on liver cirrhosis.
