Abstract

Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of alprostadil on patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods:According to the order to hospital and random digital table, the inpatients with liver cirrhosis hopitalized from February 2007 to February 2008 were devided into two groups:the alprostadil treatment group and control group. Both groups were treated with supporting drugs, protection liver drugs and diuretic,in addition, the treatment group also received treatment with 200ul alprostadil daily for two weeks. The changes of ALT,AST,pro-ALB,urine volume in 24 hours, abdominal perimeter and the deepth of ascite were observed after two-week treatment. Results:After two weeks, the volume of AST,ALT,abdominal perimeter and the deepth of ascite in alprostadil treatment group decreased significantly while pro-ALB,urine volume in 24 hours increased drematically. Conclusion:These reswlts suggested that alprostadil was of therapeutic afficacy on liver cirrhosis with little side-effects.
