Abstract

Objective:To study the levels of fasting serum glucose(GLU),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG) and uric acid(UA) in adult. Methods:The levels of fasting TC,TG and UA of 10502 adults were measured enzymatically and fasting glucose level was measured by electrode. Results:The level of GLU,the ratios of impaired fasting glucose(IFG) and the positive rate of diabetes were significant difference among all age groups. The levels of TC and TG were increased significantly with age in those younger than 50-year-old(P0.05),but no same change was found in those older than 50-year-old.The ratio of hypercholesterolemia was also increased significantly with age in those younger than 50-year-old(P0.05),but no significant change was found in those older than 50-year-old.The ratio of hypertriglyceridemia was increased significantly with age in younger than 40-year-old groups(P0.05),but no same change was found in groups older than 40-year-old except the group of 60-70 years old.The level and ratio of hyperuricemia was found significant higher in group ≥70-year-old(374.743±88.831 μmol/L、28.3%),(P0.05).Meanwhile the levels of UA in male were much higher in the groups of 30-49 years old(376.208±68.818 μmol/L) than other groups except ≥70-year-old group(387.638±87.838 μmol/L).All examined results of all groups including the ratios of hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, and hyperuricemia were all found higher in male than that in female. Conclusion: The ratios of IFG,diabetes incidence and hyperlipidaemia incidence were increased with age.And the level of UA in male was also high at the age of 30 to 49.The ratios of hyperlipidaemia and hyperuricemia were much higher in mature male and menopause female.
