Abstract
Starch(S),diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride(DMDAAC),acrylamide(AM) as raw materials, using redox initiator system, the graft copolymers S-DMDAAC-AM was synthesized. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, initiator concentration, monomer ratio on the graft copolymerization of grafting ratio, grafting efficiency, and flocculation and other factors were investigated. The results showed that optimum conditions for starch(S) ∶ monomer volume=3.5g ∶ 10.5g,reaction temperature 70℃,reaction time 4h,initiator concentration and 0.035g,monomer ratio AM ∶ DMDAAC=7 ∶ 3.Under the condition, the average grafting rate G was 144.26%,the average grafting efficiency GE was 82.65%,the average light transmission rate of sewage treatment was 69.37%.
