To promote development of village sports in new countryside construction,through literature research,logical analysis,expert interviews etc,this paper analyzes new countryside construction as well as the meaning of the village sports cultural power,its basic features,and its functions and values in new countryside construc-tion.This paper concludes that village sport is a component and basic cultural power of new countryside con-struction.Cultural power of village sports appears to be guided,adaptable,persistent etc.It is a energetic mo-mentum to the construction of new socialist countryside.
