Research of Temporal-Spatial Variance of Intensive Urban Land Use in Jiangsu Province

Urban land intensive use is the necessary demand for the sustainable development of city.Based on the current situation analysis of the urban land utilization in Jiangsu Province,the index system of land intensive utilization level is set up from the land investment level,the land utilization extent,the land output level and the land ecological efficiency.Comprehensive evaluation results of urban land intensive utilization in 13 cities of Jiangsu Province from 2005 to 2009 are obtained with the entropy method and the multi-factor analysis.The results show that the urban land use intensity level is increasing from 2005 to 2009 in Jiangsu Province and the urban land intensive utilization degree in different cities varies much.What's more,urban land intensive use is distributed as ladder in the spatial of Jiangsu Province.The land use intensity level is higher in the south of Jiangsu Province than that in the north because of the disparity of location and the difference of city industrial structure.Finally,suggestions are offered to enhance the urban land intensive utilization degree according to the contribution of factors' changes.
