Abstract

Objective Build up 3-D finite element models of maxillary central incisor, which show different tooth defects and different restorations. Methods The model was established by combining SCT scanning technology, Image ware software and ANSYS software. Results Each 3-D finite element model establish a defected maxillary central incisor, attachment apparatus of the tooth and corresponding restoration. All 12 models are divided into 3 groups. Conclusion Using SCT technique and other correlative software establish 3-Dl finite element models of maxillary central incisor, attachment apparatus of the tooth and post-core crown restoration reflect the practicle situation and provide an effective and convenient method for different restoration.
