Abstract

The tissues of the ducks infected naturally with duck hemorrhagic disease were observed histopathologically. Hemorrhages, cell degeneration, necrocytosis and lymphocytic infiltration were seen in the liver, kidney, spleen and pancreas. The lymphocytes of white pulps of spleen broke apart and disappeared. The lymphocytes of follicules in bursa decreased conspicuously. The results showed that duck hemorrhagic disease virus(DHDV) caused the decrease of duck immunity and secondary immune defect.
