On the Vertical Specialization,Industrial Agglomeration and Manufacturing Industry Productivity——Based on Empirical Test of 15 Manufacturing Industry Data in China

In this paper,with 15 industrial data of manufacturing industries from 1999 to 2011 in China,under the integrated framework of vertical specialization,industrial agglomeration and manufacturing productivity,we make an analysis on the effect of vertical specialization and industrial agglomeration on manufacturing productivity.It shows that:the effect of deepening of vertical specialization on TFP growth is not obvious,and the impact on technical efficiency is largely greater than that on TEP growth.Industrial agglomeration significantly promote TFP growth,to a degree,it shows that industrial agglomeration improves the use efficiency of industrial resources;Probably because the vertical specialization and industrial agglomeration industries in China are mainly labor-intensive industries,so the interactive relationship of vertical specialization and industrial agglomeration has a relatively weakening effect on TFP growth.
