Abstract

Objective To evaluate the possibility and the clinic value of the sequential mechanical ventilation therapy on acute left heart failure. Methods Methods:80 patients with intermediate syndrome were included in the study.of them,50 were randomly allocated to receive sequential mechanical ventilation, and the other 30 received invasive positive pressure ventilation(IPPV).And ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP),mechanical ventilation duration, the length of hospitalization, were measured. Results There were significant difierenees in invasive ventilation time, the total duration of mechanical ventilation,ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP),the length of hospitalization between sequential treatment group and the control group(P0.05).Condusion invasive-noninvasive ventilation is effective treatment for acute left heart failure,it can significantly shorten the time of invasive ventilation, the length of hospitalization and reduce the incidence of VAP.
