Abstract

Concerning big vibration and louder noise of the CK5116 CNC vertical lathe in the process of vibration, modal analysis was done.Firstly, the SolidWorks software was applied to get a 3-dimensional model, and establish the dynamic characteristic equation for the machine tool structure.Through the finite element method, the natural frequencies and corresponding mode of vibration was obtained, and according to mode changes in morphology and stress concentrated area,a possible resonance frequency was analyzed.Combined with modal test parameters of the machine tool obtained in vibration model test, compared the modal test with the finite element modal calculation results to validate the correctness of the finite element model is within allowable error range except for the experimental conditions cause, which provide a theoretical basis for the research of the noise and vibration effective control and necessary reference for performance optimization analysis and experiments of similiar machine tools.
