Application of vacuum sealing drainage on the defect of extremities soft tissue with infection

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of vacuum sealing drainage(VSD) on the defect of extremities soft tissue with infection.Methods Forty-eight cases with defect of extremities soft tissue with infection were treated with VAD.Results After 7～10 days of the application of VSD device,the wounds generally were clean,and had no signs of infection,the granulation in the surface were all fresh.Conclusion Treatment of soft tissue infection with VSD can control infection rapidly and is worth popularizing and appalling.
