Abstract
SAPO-34 molecular sieves were synthesized with tetraethyl ammonium chloride and morpholine as mixed templates under traditional hydrothermal conditions, the catalytic properties were studied by means of XRD,BET,SEM techniques, and also studied in the conversion of methanol to olefins(MTO) reaction. The prepared SAPO-34 showed better performance in the MTO reaction and the selectivity of ethylene and propylene and the conversion of methanol attained 80% and 100%,respectively.Furthermore,the SAPO-34 molecular sieve catalyst showed a longer lifetime and the cost of templates reduced significantly and the life of the catalyst. It is expected that the SAPO-34 molecular sieve with higher-performance and lower-cost has some industrial applications.
