Abstract
Objective To observe the combined therapeutic effect and safety of Captopril and low-dose Hydrochlorothiazide on primary grade 2 hypertensive patients. Methods From January 2011 to July 2011,65 patients with primary grade 2 hypertension were randomly divided into 30 cases of Hydrochlorothiazide group(group A) and 35 cases of Captopril combined with low-dose Hydrochlorothiazide group(group B).Hydrochlorothiazide tablets 25 mg/d were applied in patients of group A,Captopril tablets 75 mg/d and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets 12.5 mg/d were applied in patients of group B.Blood pressure, heart rate, blood serum of alanine transarninase, creatinine, fasting blood glucose, uric acid, lipids, potassium and adverse reactions were measured at before and 8th week after treatment. Results Patients of group B reached the standard of blood pressure was more than that of group A(P 0.01).There were no significant changes in hate rate, biochemical indicator of group B before and after trcatment(P 0.05).Conclusion Captopril and low-dose Hydrochlorothiazide is effective in treatment of patients with primary grade 2 hypertension, with less adverse reactions and high safety, which is worthy of clinical application.
