Abstract
In this paper the characteristics of the transpiration water-consumption of winter wheat seedling were experimented under the condition of the different soil droughts. The results showed that transpiration rate, transpiration water-consumption,water use coefficient wene decreased with water-decreasing in soil.In a word, the decreasing transpiration water-consumption was a approach of winter wheat seedling adapting to soil drought and increasing water use efficiency.
