Observation of Clinical Efficacy on Spleen Deficiency and Dampness of Women’s Simple Obesity Treated by Acupuncture and Cupping

Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy on spleen deficiency and dampness of women’s simple obesity treated by acupuncture and cupping.Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into group of treatment,which were acupuncture and cupping therapy and group of control,which were solo acupuncture therapy.All the patients were taken 5 days treatment every week,10 days for one course of treatment.The total time of the therapy was 3 courses(30 days).Results: After the treatment,the excellent rate of the treatment group(36.67%) has a significant difference(P 0.05) to the control group(13.33%).And the weight loss value,and waist circumference has significant difference to the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion: The acupuncture and cupping treatment has good efficacy on the spleen deficiency and dampness of women’s simple obesity.The acupuncture and cupping treatment was one of the effective methods in simple obesity.
