Misdiagnosed analysis of colposcopic biopsy in the diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

Objective To assess the accuracy of colposcopic multiple biopsy in the diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN),and further analyze the relevant factors of misdiagnosis.Methods The clinical and pathological data of 90 cases of CIN diagnosed by colposcopic cervical multiple biopsies and underwent conization of cervix were retrospectively analyzed.The accuracy of the colposcopic multiple biopsy diagnosis of CIN was assessed and the relevant factors of misdiagnosis.Results Under colposcopic multiple biopsy and cervical conization pathological diagnosis,the accuracy rate was 58.89%(53/90);misdiagnosis rate was 41.11%(37/90).Cervical conization pathological diagnosis level rised cases accounting for 21.11%(19/90),the level dropped cases accounting for 25.56%(23/90);missed diagnosis of cervical cancer cases,accounting for 3.33%.The colposcopic biopsy CIN combined with gland involvement and misdiagnosis of cervical biopsy CIN lesions by colposcopy were significantly correlated(P0.01).Conclusion It is not reliable that diagnosis of CIN by colposcopic cervix multiple biopsy,there is misdiagnosis.Conization of cervix can make up for the defects of multiple biopsy under colposcope,significantly reduce the rate of misdiagnosis of CIN.
