A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS ACROCLISOIDES (HYMENOPTERA: CHALCIDOIDEA: PTEROALIDAE)

The present paper deals with a new species of the genus Acroclisoides Girault et Dodd. Acroclisoides bicolor sp. nov.Closely allied to Acroclisoides indicus Ferriere (1931), but different from the latter in the following characters: (1) The second funicle longer than others and about 1.8 times as long as wide; the 6th funicle white and about 1.2 times as long as wide. (2) The postmarginal vein thin, long, about 1.7 times as long as the marginal. (3) The anterior and posterior coxae with closely reticulated; posterior coxa with about seven long hairs in a row; hind tibia with only one spur. (4) Abdomen ovoid, hind margin of the third tergite slightly emarginate; the fourth tergite occupying about one-fourth the length of the abdomen.Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, paratype 1♀, July, 20, 1985, from Pinggu County of Beijing, China. Collected by Luo Wei-de.Host, eggs of Halgomorpha picus (Fabricius).All type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica, Beijing.
