Abstract

Object:This experiment was carried out to determine hemostatic effect of Shuning hemostatic material made from chitosan and collagen by hypothmonic freezing technique.Methods:1)This test included two groups:Shuning group and gelatin sponge group.The measurement of physical properties were carried out respectively.2)Hemostatic effect were measured in two groups,while two kinds materials were put into the bodies of animals.Ob-servation of animals's pathological changes were completed to determine their degradation in the bodies.Results:1)The absorption rate of water in Shuning group is superior to that in gelatin sponge group(P0.05).2)The hemostatic effect of Shuning group is better than that of gelatin sponge group(P0.05).Conclusion:Shuning is one kind of ideal hemostatic materials whose hemostatic effect is better than that of gelatin sponge group.
