Comparative Study on the Self-Efficacy between Local Students and Children of Migrant Workers in the State Middle School

A perplexing problem for most middle school teachers is a learning problem of migrant workers′ children at the city state school.The survey result showed that the self-efficacy and level of ambition are significantly different between local students and children of migrant workers in the state middle school.The total levels of migrant workers′ children are lower than that of the local ones and become the direct influence learning effects of migrant students.Therefore,the teachers should pay attention to guide them in the learning strategies and methods,provide them with success platform for them to experience in study and daily life,help them strengthen self-confidence in learning so as to promote their progress to achieve the goal of healthy development.
