Abstract

Neo-Confucianism of Song and Ming dynasties has the earnest necessaries that draws near to temperament, thus unfolds the way to the domain of aesthetic appreciation. The tolerating, active and opening property of the text of Neo- Confucianism of Song and Ming dynasties leads it to the text of aesthetics. The expounding with regard to the morals of ideal, character, endless morals of Neo-Confucianism of Song and Ming dynasties has rich aesthetic sentiment. Neo-Confucianism of Song and Ming dynasties, particularly its study of the soul theory to the relation between soul and thing leaks out sense and taste from kindness to prettiness; Bai Sha's (Chen Xianzhang 1428-1500)doctrine and Yang Ming's (Wang Shouren 1472-1528) soul theory are Confucian School's aesthetic bourn of the doctrine of inside saint of heart, which takes the interest of ' pleasure ' as center.
