Analysis of Growth Convergence of Regional TFP in China Based on Low Carbon Economy

This paper taken environment pollution and energy as economic inputs into non-parametric DEA-Malmquist model.Then it measures the low carbon economy TFP indexes of 29 provinces in China based on Malmquist method,and analyzes the impacts of low carbon TFP index,technological efficiency,the rate of technological progress on the disparity of regional economic growth and its trend over time.The results show as follows: firstly,during the sample period,the growth rate of TFP increases with the consideration of low carbon economy,and the difference of technological progress is the main reason for the disparity of regional economic growth;secondly,the low carbon TFP index in eastern and central region are featured by typical club convergence;thirdly,there is conditional convergence in all regions and in the whole country.
