Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of nursing intervention on preventing postoperative urinary retention of patients undergoing sacral anesthesia for anorectal diseases. Methods One hundred and three cases in the experimental group were provided health education immediately after admission, including training patients how to urinate with t-bandage,controlling transfusion rate during and after operation, encouraging patients to urinate as early as possible after operation, and take measures to inducing urination in case of urinary retention.Routine nursing care was conducted in the control group. Results There was significant difference in the incidence of urinary retention and rate of inducing urination(P0.05).Conclusion Systematic nursing intervention could significantly reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary retention of patients underging sacral anesthesia for anorectal diseases.
