Liberating Rradition and Innovation

To reach the innovation of traditional costume we must carry out the theoretical analysis of three aspects,namely,the traditional clothing-historical culture,the Western clothing development conditions as well as the current time characteristics to get the correct conclusion.From a design viewpoint,this paper elaborates the innovation direction of Chinese traditional clothing at this stage,to which we must complete the transformation from form to content.In addition,this paper presents the application principles of traditional costumes decoration language in contemporary costume design.
